San Benito, TX- Jesus P. Rivera, 84, of San Benito, TX passed away December 1, 2009 at his residence in San Benito.
"He was a great husband, father, grandfather who will be greatly missed"
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Anastacia Perez Rivera; a granddaughter, Gabriela Rivera; a sister, Juanita Arranda; and a brother, Jose Rivera.
Jesus is survived by his loving wife, Martha G. Rivera; his 3 daughters, Patti (Carlos) Muniz, Lupita Rivera and Fatima Rivera; 2 grandchildren, David Muniz and Alejandro Muniz; 2 sisters, Isabel Salazar and Eliza Rivera; and 2 brothers, Agustin Rivera and Jose Rivera.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
