Obituary of Vallie Boudreaux

Laguna Vista, TX- Vallie Tabor Boudreaux, 91, of Laguna Vista, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Retama Manor in Harlingen, TX following a lengthy illness.
She was born in St. Mary's Parish, Louisiana on April 14, 1918, daughter of Pete and Mary Helene Tabor. Mrs. Boudreaux lived in the lower Laguna Madre area since 1949; she was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel; she was active in many community organizations such as Lower Laguna Madre B&PW club, Catholic Daughters of America and Laguna Vista Civic League. She was a joy to her family and friends; she loved nothing more than welcoming each new child into the family. Vallie gave of herself to all who knew her, especially to her family, who now mourn her loss.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Paul Boudreaux; her parents; and a brother, Murphy "Bud" Tabor.
Vallie is survived by her 2 daughters, Judith Badolato of Arlington and Susan Higginbotham of Laguna Vista; a son, Ronald Boudreaux of Laguna Vista; a sister, Evelyn Rhodes; 2 brothers, Alwin and Charles Tabor all of Louisiana; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville.
