Port Isabel, TX- Shirley (Glowacki) Hall, 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Sunshine Haven Hospice Center in Olmito. Shirley was born and educated in Edmonton Alberta, Canada and spent many years working as a Radiologic Technician in Southern California. Shirley and her husband of 40 years, Bob, retired early and traveled the country in a RV. They visited every state in the continental US and made many friends along the way. They eventually settled in their favorite spot, Long Island Village, Texas. Shirley loved to fish and was an avid football fan; Shirley will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Bob; 2 sisters, and several nieces and nephews in Canada; 2 stepchildren, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren in New Hampshire. No local services will be held.
