San Benito, TX- Juan Ramos, 61, of San Benito, TX passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Guadalupe Cavazos and grandfather Jesus Montes. Mr. Ramos is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Carmen Ramos; his children, Juan (Linda) Ramos, Jr., Laura Hernandez, Jose Julian Ramos and Melissa Ramos; his grandchildren, Erick Hernandez, Joseph Hernandez, Jonathan Hernandez, Juan Ramos, Jr. and Yasmin Ramos; his mother, Emelia Cavazos; and his brother and sisters, Rosa Lorero, Alicia Cavazos, Jose Guadalupe Cavazos and Ramon Cavazos. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Committal service will follow to San Benito City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juan Ramos, Jr., Conrado Rodriguez, Jr., Ramon Cavazos, Jose Cavazos, Justin Bertelson and Stephen Gregg.
