San Benito, TX- Margarita Castillo, 80, of San Benito, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at La Hacienda Healthcare Center in Harlingen.
After 80 years of smiles, stories and laughter, she has gone home to be with her parents and numerous brothers and sisters. She was one of 16 children born to Eugenio Castillo, Sr. and Santos Plata Castillo.
She never had children but she loved each niece and nephew she had as if they were her own. Every birth, wedding and graduation brought her great joy. Heaven's gain is our loss.
Funeral Mass will be held today, Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 2:00 P.M at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
