Los Fresnos/Port Isabel, TX. - Daniel V. Perez, 73, of Los Fresnos/Port Isabel, TX went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at his residence in Los Fresnos, TX. He is preceded in death by his two infant sons, Santos and Rosalio Perez and one brother, Manuel Perez. Daniel was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church of Port Isabel. Mr. Perez is survived by his loving companion of 25 years, Consuelo Gonzalez; three sons, Juan Jose Perez, Daniel Perez, Jr. and Felipe Perez; four daughters, Yesenia Henderson, Patricia Perez Martinez, Elvira Perez and Gloria Gene Perez Southwell; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his 1st wife, Emma Gloria Perez; a brother, Adan Perez; three sisters, Eva Perez, Rosa Maria Munoz and Lencha Turrubiates. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel, TX. Interment of his ashes will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery.
