San Benito, TX- Olivia B. Hernandez, 88, of San Benito, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Harlingen Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her son, Jose Angel Hernandez.
Olivia is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leopoldo Hernandez; her 6 daughters, Maria de Jesus Hernandez, Celia H. (Reynaldo) Garcia, Margarita (Abelardo) Pena, Maria Angelica Hernandez, Maria de los Angeles (Rolando) Ortiz and Yolanda (Jaime) Hernandez; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Interment will follow to Gomez Cemetery in Carrizitos.
