San Benito, TX- Epimenio Garcia, Jr., 93, of San Benito was called into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at his residence in San Benito, TX Epimenio is preceded in death by his parents, Epimenio and Margarita Garcia; a brother, Manuel Garcia; a sister, Eulalia Ortiz and a granddaughter, Tina Mercado. Epimenio is survived by his loving wife, Nicolasa Garcia; his children, Reynaldo (Nati) Cervantez, Candelaria (+Enrique) Meza, Vicente (Lupe) Garcia, Roberto (Marilyn) Garcia, Esteban (Carmen) Garcia, Yolanda (Arturo) Rios, Juanita (John) Knott, Maria Reyes Garcia, Victoria (Kenneth) Terrill, Esmeralda Garcia and Silvia Garcia; 43 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren and 2 brothers Nico Garcia and Lalo Garcia. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito .
