San Benito, TX- Victoria Soria Anaya, 83, our precious loving mother was called by Our Lord and Savior on Monday, July 13, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Emilio Padron Anaya; her daughter, Guadalupe Anaya; her parents, Isaac and Luz Soria; her sister and brothers, Petra Lopez, Dominga Hernandez, Seferina Contreras, David Soria, Santiago Soria and Leonzo Soria; her half sisters and brothers, Victoria Contreras and Remedios Perez; and a special Tia, Trinidad Lopez. Victoria is survived by her children, Anita Anaya, Santana (Gloria) Anaya, Guadalupe (Lucio) Garcia, Isabel (Ramon II) Fernandez, Emilia (Eliberto) Esquivel, Eva (Rudy) Leal and Ernesto (Julia) Anaya; her brother, Manuel Soria; her sister, Maria S. Garza; her half brother, Victor Contreras; her grandchildren, Esmeralda (Ricardo) Oliva, Blanca Estella Garcia, Adan (Yamilet) Garcia, Francisco (Monica) Garcia, Santana Anaya Jr., Emilio (Rosie) Anaya, Raul (Hilary) Anaya, Ruben (Cassandra) Anaya, Christina (Robert) Lopez, Lucio (Margaret) Garcia Jr., Noemi Garcia, Victoria (Rolando) Lopez, Mariana Garcia, Leonora (Joe) Medina, Ramon (Selene) Fernandez III, Michael Ray (Cindy) Fernandez, Monica (Ruben) Ramirez, Norma (Ruben) Chavez, Eliberto Esquivel Jr., Veronica Esquivel, Maria Elena Leal (Ricardo), Maria Isabel Leal, Emilio Estebann Leal, Dominga (Valentine) Balderas, Angelica (Nacario) Mendoza, Ernesto Anaya Jr., and Marcos Turrubiartes; and 47 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to Las Yescas Cemetery in Las Yescas. Honorary Pallbearers are Rudy Leal and Rudy Leal, Jr., Emilio Estebann Leal and Ernesto Anaya, Jr. Pallbearers will be Emilio Anaya, Raul Anaya, Ruben Anaya, Adan Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Lucio Garcia, Jr., Ramon Fernandez III, Michael Ray Fernandez.
