San Benito, TX- Francisca Gonzales, 91, of San Benito, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Atrium Place Nursing and Rehab Center in San Benito. She is preceded in death by her father, Trinidad Gonzales; her mother, Natalia Gonzales; her daughter, Encarnacion Cantu; her brother, Adelaido Gonzales; and her sister, Isabel Gonzales. Francisca is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Antonio) Garcia; 2 sisters, Carmen Lerma and Maria Sifuentes; 2 brothers, Evaristo Gonzales and Guadalupe Gonzales; 3 grandchildren, Jorge Cantu, Jr., Analicia Vargas and Antonio Garcia, Jr.; and 5 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 from 12 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Pallbearers will be Jorge Cantu, Jr., Antonio Garcia, Jr., Baldo Sifuentes, Jr., Antonio Garcia, Gonzalo Gonzales and Robert Vargas.
