San Benito, TX - Genoveva Tolento Flores, 80, of San Benito passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center on May 8, 2009.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Tolento Sr. and Luz Tolento and her siblings; Jose Angel, Ambrocio, Noe, Celedonio, Eliza and Aurora Tolento.
She is survived by her loving husband Amadeo Flores Sr., son Amadeo Jr. (Remedios) Flores, grandson Amadeo III (Jessica) Flores and future great granddaughter Catalina Flores and granddaughter Laarni Flores. Also surviving are Genoveva's other brothers and sisters Amadeo, Israel Tolento, Alicia Mendoza, Ninfa Anzaldua and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today, Sunday May 10, 2009 from 12 PM to 9PM with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday May 11, 2009 at 10: 30 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Harlingen. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Amadeo Flores Jr., Amadeo Flores III, Rolando Florez Jr., Adam Mendoza, Ricardo Alfaro, Joe Tolento and Leonel Tolento.
