Brownsville, TX- Benita Zamarron, 89, entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2009, due to intestinal failure.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Agapito Garcia and Romula Villanueva, sisters; Aurora Gonzalez, Angela Hernandez, Gregoria Rodriguez, Dolores Garcia; and son, Frank Zamarron;
She is survived by her daughters; Hilda Guerra and Esther Obied, sons; Cecil, Mike, Joe, and Luis Zamarron and Cecilia Arriaga; also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
