Antonio Rodriguez Jr., 50 of South Padre Island, Texas passed away on February 26, 2009 at his residence.
He preceded in death by his father, Antonio Rodriguez; brother, Juan Puentes; sister, Micaela Puentes; and father whom raised him, Rogelio G. Puentes.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela B. Rodriguez; 3 daughters, Nancy Puentes, Gloria Rodriguez, and Rosario Rodriguez; 2 granddaughters, Brenda Lee Martinez and Mariah A. Martinez; 1 great grandson, Cristopher Anthony Betancourt; his Mother, Gloria Puentes; and 2 sisters, Guadalupe Puentes Chavez and Evangelina Puentes-Apango; and 2 brothers, Jose Angel Medrano and Alberto Miranda.
Visitation will begin today, Friday February 27, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Chapel Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito with Pastor Gustavo E. Villarreal of First Baptist Church of Port Isabel officiating. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel.
