Angela Lopez Guzman, 91, of San Benito, TX entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Harlingen Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1919 in Tampico, Tamulipas, MX. She is preceded in death by her father, Carmelo Lopez; her mother, Dominga Guzman; her sister, Carmela Lopez, and two brothers: Isidro and Juvencio Lopez. She is survived by her two daughters: Micaela (Feliberto) Pereira of San Benito and Victoria Loredo of Brownsville; her son, Ernesto (Abigail) Barbier of Tampico, Mexico; her sister, Victoria (Evaristo) Vallejo of Harlingen; her niece, Janie (Armando) Castellanos of Harlingen; two nephews: George (Janie) Castellanos of Colorado and Lupe (Sylvia) Villarreal of Houston, TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, July 1, 2011 at 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer (Discipulos De Cristo) located on 205 W. First St. in Los Fresnos. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Carlos Barbier, Lupe Villarreal, Armando Torres, Edgar Reyes, Eduardo Barbier, and Ernesto Barbier.
